Fasih Ahmed

Director

Mr. Ahmed is the CEO of PGP Consortium Limited, Pakistan’s largest LNG import terminal, and a director of the group companies with extensive experience in sales and marketing, and negotiation of contracts.

He founded and was editor of the country’s largest newsmagazine, Newsweek Pakistan, published under license from Newsweek LLC. Ahmed was also editor of Newsweek’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMA) edition. He has previously worked at The Wall Street Journal, and won a 2008 New York Press Club award for Newsweek International’s coverage of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.

A graduate of Columbia University, Mr. Ahmed was the inaugural Daniel Pearl fellow and is a recipient of an East-West Institute fellowship.
