Attiq Ahmed

Director

Based in Lahore, architect and urban designer Attiq Ahmed is a director in PGPL, and a Principal at AEDL, a multi-disciplinary design practice.

Mr. Ahmed is the Founding Director of the Office for Conservation and Community Outreach (OCCO), an urban design think-tank working on spatial analysis, conservation and improvement of physical and social environments in urban areas and heritage districts.

Ahmed’s work pivots on the production of a regionally expressive contemporary design response informed by historic responses to Pakistan’s climate and available materials.

Ahmed also designs and produces furniture under the label Turning Tables and was Associate Professor of Architecture at the National College of Arts in Lahore for 10 years.
